Job description
To be solely responsible for smooth and continuous operation of the plant through operating, monitoring, and solving the problems that may happen to different equipment
Major Responsibilities
- Continuously communicate with the Panel Operator and the Shift Supervisor directly and/or by radio regarding field operations, such as making manual adjustments to valves, start and stop pumps, compressors, and other equipment, based on the direction of the Panel Operator.
- Take appropriate actions in accordance with Panel Operator and Shift Supervisor instructions in case of parameter deviations or emergency.
- Patrol the plant daily for checking and performing minor maintenance based on a check list to ensure that the equipment is operating normally and that no unusual conditions exist
- Record field equipment readings in the log sheet at specified timings.
- Produce individual shift reports about events that took place during the work shift.
- Collect in-process samples of various streams and deliver them to laboratory for analysis.
- Receive Maintenance team requirements and pass them on to the Shift Supervisor, then prepare equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
- Carry out plant housekeeping and equipment and tower internal cleaning in coordination witli the allotted general labor.
- Coordinate the start-up and shutdown of equipment with the Shift Supervisor and Field Operators during emergency or planned shutdown and as per operation requirements.
- Adhere to Company's HSE Policies, procedures, and controls in order to ensure employee safety responsible environmental attitude, legislative compliance, and to carry out the jobs without any accidents through the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and proper use of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Education/ Certification: 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Chemistry.
- Work Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience in the same industry, at least one (1) of them should be HF/ALF3.
- Others (Training/ Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities): Good knowledge of operating computer and equipment maintenance, prefrerd to have Knowledge in DSC operation and good English comunication.
