Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid - AHF
Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid is produced by the reaction of Fluorspar & Sulphuric acid and used as a major raw material for the manufacture of Aluminium Fluoride.
It is also used as an intermediate for the manufacture of Fluorocarbons such as Refrigerant gases ( HFC & HFCC etc…), Inorganic / Organic chemicals, and Fluoro polymers.
Its application includes petroleum alkylation, steel pickling, glass etching, metal coatings and production of Uranium compounds and Sulphur hexa fluoride.
